I will never forget the day that President Kennedy was assassinated. The TV picture that made the greatest impression on me was of the U.S. secret service agents becoming human shields and throwing themselves over President Kennedy. They were prepared to die to save his life. That was unbendable loyalty.

Today we have an inspiring story of the unbendable loyalty of three young men to Jehovah God. What makes this story special is that Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were outsiders in powerful positions in a foreign government.

Today many young people would let this go to their head. They would write letters home telling about how they had made it big time in the hottest, most vibrant city in the world. They would brag about the inside track they had with the most powerful man in the world.
