John 14 I. Heaven is a prepared place for a prepared people. Taking up residence in Heaven is the ultimate expression of the great salvation Jesus bought for us that dark Good Friday long ago. A glorious surprise awaits us. Some days I look upon myself as a travel agent. The big difference between me and the commercial operations is that I can’t provide return trip tickets. They are all one way and to the same place, Heaven. Approximately ten hours before Jesus died He assured the disciples of the reality of Heaven’s existence. - The Promise of Heaven, God’s Prepared Place. John 14:1-4 1. "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.
- In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you.
- And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
- You know the way to the place where I am going."
